We're having an issue with tracking the status of our overall project using Jira Agile. We currently have 10 teams working on the project and each team has its own JIRA Project for their backlog with each backlog planned and tracked using a JIRA Agile scrum board. These are in reality sub-projects (see the illustration below). We would like to generate an overall Release Burndown Report for the project (which we don’t know how to do) in addition to burndown reports for each sub-product team (which each board currently provides). Can this be done using Jira Agile out of the box or is there a plugin we could use?
Hi Robert,
We have just released JIRA Agile integration for our plugin Intelligent Reports. Check out the included "All boards progress report" example report, it seems similar to what you are looking for. It contains an overall "all boards" burndown and epic summary, followed by detailed reports on each individual board.
You can also design the exact report you want quite easily. Just design it visually in Microsoft Word, and fill in the data you want with simple point and click rules. No scripting or API to learn.
