Total remaining estimate for all issues by epic in current Sprint

We use scrum boards and sprints on jira-agile.

We have multiple epics and issues from several epics constitute a sprint.

We can easily obtain the total remaining estimate for the current sprint.

What we want to find out is the total remaining estimate by epic i.e for issues linked to Epic A how much effort is remaining in the current sprint, same for issues linked to epic B and so on.

Preferably in a table format.

I know this is not something jira-agile provides out of box.

So what are my options here.

Any workarounds? pLUGINS? REST API scripting?

As a workaround, how about creating an Agile board that is filtered to only show the current sprint.

Then go to plan mode and expand the epic you are interested in from the Epic vertical panel on the left. It shows the story points completed, unestimated & estimated.
