We use JIRA for server builds..
We have tried sequential workflows status by status, which tends to congest at centain statuses..
We have tried parallel (subtasks) workflow, which spawns a lot of subtasks that needs to be manged and does have dependencies - like: Backup cant be setup before the server is build etc etc. Often people see/get the Sub-Task long before it can be done.
None is optimal, så I looking for a relative highleve Jira App or external tool that can control this, but setting tasks up along the way, upen getting feedback or querying Jira for status on other tasks..
I can make a Jira Workflow that solves some of the issues, but this is just one on many issues where the problem is:
Generalt build of "stuff"
Employee onboard / offboard
etc
