Team/squad requirement?

My team has been creating issues for some time now on our Kanban board with no problem, but now when we try to create, Jira prompts us for "Team/Squad is required" and won't let us proceed. This is new and we have not changed any settings on our board.

Please note that field configuration associated with project has required field called Team/Squad.

Please refer below document on how to make field required or optional.

Also check you have any validators on create issue transition of the workflow associated with issue type for your project.
