Sub-tasks on the Kanban board - confusion!

Jon Lawrance October 11, 2017

I am new to Jira so bear with me...

I clicked on a card in the In-Progress column. Next I went to sub-tasks and added one. Then, the Kanban board adds an extra horizontal lane. It confused me!

The previous (only) row is now under Other Issues.

What is going on?

Thanks,

Jon

Sorry, you've said "scrum" in the title and then talked about the Kanban board.  I'm not sure which one you mean.

I don't know what you mean by "horizontal line" either - could you screenshot it?  Unless you mean "swimlane" or "grouping issues by their parent card" (what do you have under Board -> Config -> Swimlanes?)

Ah, I ment I am doing Scrum with sprints, but you are right that it is on the Kanban board.

In addition to the above, I want to know how to delete the subtasks. I can't seem to work out how, as I was expecting a Delete option for them!
