Sort kanban board by Version

Deleted user March 28, 2016

We have a JIRA agile kanban board structured by Versions

The Versions are not in order in Kanban Board view however, it looks like this:

1.03

1.02

1.04

How can we sort the kanboan board so that it's shown as

1.02

1.03

1.04

Found out what we were looking for: there's a manually editable hierachy in Board > Configure > Swimlanes

Hey Dan!

If I understand correctly, you could use the JQL ORDER BY keyword, (in conjunction with the version field), in the query for either the Filter Query or Kanban Board Sub-filter configuration for the board:

Advanced Searching

To modify the filters, go to your board, then Board -> Configure -> General.  At the bottom of that page you can modify them.

Good luck!
