Smart Value for field editor?

Deborah Cross April 29, 2021

Hey all,

Is there a smart value I can use to determine who last edited a ticket?

I've written an automation to alert me when a particular field was changed and I'd love it if I could find out who changed it. I know I can look it up in the history of the ticket, but knowing it via the email would help me decide whether I even need to bother.

Thanks :)

Hi @Deborah Cross

Marco's suggestion will help when the trigger is for the field you wanted to watch, such as Field Value Changed: Description.

There are small number of fields for which rules cannot detect a change.  If you explain the specific field you want to watch, the community can help confirm this for you.  Thanks!

Best regards,

Bill
