At times I've tried to use the JIRA integration to add a message to an existing ticket from Slack. Occasionally it works, but more often than not I get a "You've successfully added message ..." success message with nothing new actually being added to the ticket. I suspect this is due to if the message being added is of a given size.
Am I doing something wrong? Is this a known issue, both the failure as well as the false positive success message?
My workaround is usually to not even bother with trying the integration and to just screenshot Slack and paste it into JIRA. I'd rather the content be added properly with better usability, though, plus it's frustrating that when I use the integration, I then have to go check its work because I can't trust the success message.
