This is Majid @ Exalate.

Apologies in advance if I didn't fully understand your message, but I believe the main concern here is that you do not want to bother the client with additional work on their side. May I suggest looking at the Visual mode in Exalate. Using the Visual mode, the only client involvement would be on Step 1 where they would install the app and authorize a connection. After that, all configuration can be handled from your side only.

Also, just wondering if your client already has Exalate on their Jira - this might be the reason they are suggesting to go with Exalate.

If you are interested to see more of how Exalate can help in your use case, please feel free to book a customized demo here and we will be happy to assist.

Thanks

Majid

@Heydi Menéndez hi there! Feel free to check out ZigiOps. It will help you instantly connect the two instances, transfer and sync data between them (projects/issues/etc.). You can modify it to fit current (and upcoming needs and requirements). Check it out and if you want to learn more (and see how it works) book a demo.

Hi @Heydi Menéndez , thanks for the question. And thanks @David Freitez for recommending issue sync apps. This is Umer from K15t, creators of the Jira app "Backbone Issue Sync for Jira".

As far as I understood, you could opt for an Issue Sync app, but don't want to bother your customer and force them to install it on their Jira instance as well. Don't worry, as you can use Backbone's remote licensing option to sync Jira instances without installing it on both of them!

Backbone's remote licensing allows you to connect with multiple Jira endpoints using a single Backbone installation. And installation is quick and simple using an XML file and the sync works with full functionality.

If you want more info, simply schedule a free demo here  or reply here with more questions about our offering!

Regards,

Cualquier duda, avisame.
David
