Hi - We're a very small team of two just starting out with Jira. We're on the premium trial, primarily to get access to capacity planning in advanced roadmaps.
We have created 3 SCRUM projects and added these projects to a Plan with an advanced roadmap. We expect to use 2 week sprints that will pull in issues from all 3 projects.
I have created a shared team for the Plan with both team members.
However, I had to choose a single board to be the "associated issue source" with this shared team. This seems to defeat the purpose of the shared team.
I want to be able to allocate a number of story points (velocity) and associated iteration length for our team that is then used by Jira to enable us to do capacity planning across all three project areas.
I suspect that my problem is associated primarily with misunderstanding some aspect of advanced roadmaps!
If anybody can give me some observations about how I should be approaching this more effectively, I'll be very grateful. Thanks!
