hi! i am trying to use this article to create an autoresponse from jira. i want the email to send a reply to the emailer after they send an email to us. i would also like jira to send an email once we assign the jira ticket to someone. how do we actually automate the email after setting this up? thank you :)

What type of project are these issues in; Work Management, Software, or Service Management?
Are the email senders licensed users of your Jira instance? Is the sender being set as the Reporter of the issue?
this is a software project. and no, this is for a service desk use, so they are not being set to the reporters. i'm wondering if i absolutely cannot do this without needing it to be in service management.
