Hello,
Looking for a way to set delete issue permissions by issue type. I have one issue type that once a ticket using that issue type is created it must not be deleted (for record keeping).
Need a solution that does not impact the ability to delete tickets with all of the other issue types.
This is not possible. Delete works on a per-project basis.
With that said deleting issues is rarely a good idea at all. The only time I do this is if some automation went awry or at the beginning of setting up a project and we run a lot of tests and we need to have clean metrics day 1. My advice is to only allow deletion of issues by an admin.
Similar situation here. There's a particular issue type that the team is able to manage themselves. Other than this, they shouldn't delete any other type as it tied to performance metrics

Hi @Steven Guiliani ,
Is there a particular reason why you're deleting issues for issue types?
I'm just interested to know! 🙂

I just have one issue type that cannot be deleted after it is created. it sends its contents elsewhere for record keeping purposes. for the rest of the issue types, I don't care if anyone deletes their tickets.
It is a very specific use case.
