Service Desk - Linked Issues - Automation

Need to know how to update. For a single service desk (not all) how to update the status of a service desk ticket when the linked Jira issues change status. We currently create a linked issue in a Jira project, it can change to resolve a service desk ticket. When the linked issue in Jira transitions,  it's status to "QA" or "UAT" we would like automation to change the status of the linked service desk ticket.   Can this be done ?

Hi Richard,

Yes, I would think you can do that with Automation. What type of project are you using? 

Have you tried creating the rule yet at all? If so, can you share that rule and describe what is not working about it?
