Send Jira Filter notifications to Slack when a new ticket is created

I have a filter configured in Jira. I would like to send new ticket notifications based on that filter to Slack. Is this possible?

Hi @joseph.larkin 

What do you mean by "new ticket notifications" in the context of the filter?  For example:

  • Do you mean newly created tickets, or
  • Tickets which changed somehow and now meet the criteria for the filter, or
  • Something else?

Once you decide how to detect the things to post to Slack, you could use an automation rule to do so.  Please look here for example rules showing how:
