It gives an error when creating a new defect in cloud jira
Security Approvers: A selected user for this field no longer exists. Choose another user.
Hi @Madhuri Nittala ,
Can you check on your custom fields for the field "Security Approvers" and see if there is a default value set.
It could be that that user was removed/set inactive and that messes with you when you want to create a defect.
Otherwise it could be a post function on the create transition.
We have the same issue, no one is able to create any JIRAs
Error: [Company Name] Resources Required for the Change: A selected user for this field no longer exists. Choose another user.
Edit: We had a custom field named "[Company Name] Resources Required for the Change". This was missing some default users as some users were purged. After removing all the "unknown" users and leaving just one default user for this field, everyone was able to create JIRAs again

@Madhuri Nittala I catch same problem after deleted custom field Approvers in Screens. After I added it back, everything will work fine.
