Scrum board with multiple projects, items are not visible in the backlog

Version 6.1.1

Set a board with 2 projects, created some epics, tasks, bugs in both projects.
Epics are visible on the left pane but show no issues, there are no items in the backlog.

When looking at the filter for the board all the expected issues are returned.

There are no quick filters selected.

Please help to understand why

Seems like the todo and done statuses were not mapped.

Solved by going to tools-> configuration -> column tab and assigning the unmapped statuses
