Sceenshot attachments disappear in description field when creating issue in JIRA Servicedesk Edited

Both in Description and Comments when I paste a screenshot, it disappears when creating issue or a new comment. My solution is to edit Description or comment and save.

I'm sure this is happens in JIRA Servicedesk, but maybe sometimes in JIRA software to.

But maybe there are a better "real" solution to this?

Looks like this when saved the comments

Hi there, where are you pasting from?

Copy (ctrl c) and paste (ctrl v) on a PC.

Ah no sorry I meant what source were you copying from? I.e. was it from an external site, a Confluence page with restrictions, a Jira ticket with restrictions etc

Just "Snip&Sketch tool"

Hmm strange. Perhaps our systems are having problems parsing the content from that tool.

Is it going to be painful to download the file from Snip&Sketch and then upload into ServiceDesk?

It works again if I edit the comment or description and paste the image again.

Sometimes it works the first time, but sometimes I need to edit and paste again.

It might be something to do with token expiry.

When you use the tools are you leaving the tabs with your tickets open for a long time?

In that case the authorisation token which says you are allowed to upload images could expire.

When you 'edit' the page its looking like it is refreshing the token - hence the uploads are working.
