We're a relatively new tech startup using accrual based accounting to earn our revenue based on when milestones or deliverables are completed. We are trying to switch over to using Jira to help monitor percentage complete and when they are complete so that we can more accurately track and earn instead of a weekly meeting where the leaders share rough percentage they have in their head. I was curious if there are other companies using Jira to track earned Revenue and if you have any tips or best practices on what has worked for you? Are there custom fields you had to add in order to do this? Do you use dashboards vs. Plans to track? I'd love to hear about it!
