When setting up our system, I created a number of test sprints. I looked at the documentation and it said that if I delete all the test issues from my test sprints, the sprints will no longer show up in the Report pages.
However, I've deleted all my test data and the sprints are still there! When I select them a popup says "No issues present in sprint to generate scope change model"
I don't want the sprints to show any more, it is going to be really confusing to users and we are rolling this out next week. Are there some other stages to deleting a sprint that I have missed? Or an admin can do this for me?
Many thanks.
Hi Fiona,
I'm afraid the sprints will always be shown in the report mode. I took the liberty of creating a suggestion to remove sprints without issues from the reports:

Hope this helps.
Cheers,

...It's true that there are projects in Jira; but they are merely a way to cut off issues, to tell them apart from other sections of work and to apply rules that are specific to that team (the schemes)....
