Remove Extra Log Work Fields

Hello, I'm trying to remove the extra fields that appear when the "Log Work" field is included in a screen (e.g. Date Started, Remaining Estimate, etc). 

Is there a way to accomplish this without modifying the appropriate JSP?

Those are all delivered fields as part of the log work section.  You could hide them with CSS, that would be my suggestion.
