I used to think that once an issue is transited to a status in which StatusCategory = done, then the resolved date will be set. However, it seems wrong.
We have many issues in the final status but do not have a resolved date. Any thoughts?
You have to actually set the Resolution field in a post function of your workflow in the transition to the "Done" category status.
The Resolved date will be populated no matter what when it moves to that status, but the Resolution must be configured to be set since there are multiple different values that are available.
