Regarding Reply to email feature

The "Reply to email" feature is enabled and working, fine but  if a Reporter replies to an email notification, his/her comment are added to the ticket in JIRA. The change which we would like to implement is that only the last comment should be added to the ticket while replying .Please suggest what can be done on this regard?
