Read the content of the file from given content url in Jira attachment JSON using scriptrunner

Hi ,

We are developing an integration, we need to send attachment to other ticketing service whenever attachment is added to Jira issue. We are using scriptrunner to call external API. But I'm stuck at how to send the actual content of the file 

We need to encode the content of the file to base64 format and upload the file.

I'm able to get the content url from the Jira attachment API, but how to get the file content from that?

Is there anyway to get the actual content or any workaround for this requirement would also be helpful.
