Problem with issue types

I created three new issue types that applies to all my projects. ("Defect", "Reviews/Pull-Requests", "Tech Story")

When i choose one of these new issue types i am then not able to change the type to one of the existing types that existed before the new three.. See screenshots

I am also not able to add Story Points..

Any idea?

Hi Vasilis,

you can only change an issue type to another one, if they use the same workflow. If workflows are different, you can't do that. Then you have to "move" the issue, using the same project as destination. By moving the issue, you can change the issue type.

I think, your field also is not associated with the new issue type.

I have this workflow in use for this project that contains all issue types..

The ability to change is also dependent on having the same field configuration for both issue types, as well as workflow.
