Priority (system field) values can hide for specific project

HP September 24, 2020

Hi everyone,

For jira priority System field, whenever there is new value added, it will appear in the default scheme.

We tried not to create many different scheme for the projects, so most of the projects are using this default scheme, and affected when new values added for existing scheme.

I found some post script runner, behaviour to hide the value.

can metadata hide value for priority ? Or any suggestion for this issue? thanks!

The best thing to do here is define priority schemes and use them for the projects, don't use the default scheme for them.

Hi @HP ,

You can refer this doc to limit priority values by group

https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/5.6.9/jira/recipes/behaviours/restricting-priority-and-resolution.html

Another option is to create a new priority scheme with the required values and to associate it to your projects.
