Print out paper cards in correct format and with information

Mats Kallmyr November 27, 2017

When we print out cards in A4 format some of them are just half on each page. So the page break is not on the correct place.

Secondly I also notice that we can not choose which information is printed on the card. Which is not good as we want to have some fields on the card such as Estimated time, Actual time etc.

@Gregory Van Den Ham Thanks for the mention!

@Mats Kallmyr Agile Cards has a flexible drag & drop designer that allows you to fully customise the available info you wish to print from Jira - inclusive of original estimate and remaining estimate values.
With Agile Cards, you can adjust the following variants to meet your needs -

  • 1-sided or 2-sided cards
  • Card colour + colour bands for specific Issue types / Projects
  • Field content, position, size, alignment & labels
  • Page format, margins, orientation, rows + columns (# of cards per page)

We also have a few predefined design templates that come in handy for backlog grooming, planning and day-to-day team boards too.

PDF View Plugin is a general purpose app to produce every sort of PDF documents from JIRA data. It can be used to generate agile cards, among a ton of other use cases. (I'm a developer working on this.)

The cards are generated from a customizable template that you can easily fine-tune to your preferences, both in terms of card content and sizing:
