I'm trying to share the version in which a bug was fixed with client in the portal.
To share the info, we're using the "Advanced Portal Reports for JSM"
How can I extract the release version from the Dev project and show it in the client ticket in the JSM project ?

You can do that using Automation as long as your custom ticket is linked to a dev task. Not only you can fetch the fields from a linked issue but also add comment on the ticket for your customer. I made this video to access linked issue's field and this one here to add a comment.
