Power BI first load excessively long/never ends

Stephanie Hansen January 20, 2021

I am trying to grab sprint data from JIRA into a Power BI report via the Power BI Connector for JIRA.

When I created my first connection, I pulled just a few tables (Issues and a few others) and that ran without issue.

Now I want to connect Sprints and IssueSprints...and it sees the tables...but just spins...for hours.

Right now....showing 8.8MB from IssueSprints

17.9MB from Issues

154KB from Sprints....

and still spinning

Any idea how to remedy?

You can use our plugin.
For the server - Microsoft Power BI Connector for Jira
For cloud - Microsoft Power BI Connector for Jira Cloud
Data export is very fast.
Our plugin has convenient data filtering. You will be able to filter your data by JQL, Date and Jira Filter.

We also made Burnup Chart, Burndown Chart, Velocity Chart, Sprint Status Report tables. With these tables, you can quickly create graphs for analyzing your sprints.
Also integrated with a large number of plugins.
