Ordering of Sub-tasks in planning board does not match order in JIRA issue

Kim Wall September 3, 2012

For an issue or user story that has multiple sub-tasks, it is expected that if we take the time to reorder the tasks on the JIRA issue that they will be reordered when we look at the details of a backlog item in the GreenHopper planning board. Currently, it appears that on the planning board they are sorted by issueID even if they are reordered in the JIRA ticket itself (see attachments). Shouldn't these match up?

Thanks!

Hi Kim,

Please go to (_Agile > Planning Board_) and select Manage on the context. Now, go to the "Sorting" tab, it is probably sorting the cards by a different field then the ID.

Please refer to Using Contexts to Filter and Highlight Issues for more details on this.

Hope it helps!
