Open issue navigator for issues in rapid board column

In many cases, I need to do a bulk change on a lot of issues within one rapid board column. E.g. I often want to convert a bunch of issues in one go into a subtask of another issue.

Opening the issue navigator on all issues within a column would help a lot. E.g. by clicking the column name or something like that.

It's frustrating, but you have no option here other than keep clicking :-(

Atlassian ackowledged it was a good suggestions but nevertheless closed the issue saying "The JIRA PM team has decided to close any issues that we know will not be on our roadmap in the next 12-24 months. We want to be as honest as we can, and not lure you into a false sense that we may fix it soon."

Converting to sub tasks in bulk is not yet developed either, apparently, so we'd need that as well. (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-13245)
