Open Rapid Board in IE8

GreenHopper plugin: After I installed Greenhopper5.9 in Jira, I can see new menus ‘Rapid Board’. However, when I clicked ‘Rapid Board’ with IE8, the IE would automatically turn to IE8 in compatibility mode, then I found that the appearance in page was ugly and even could not use the scroll ball smoothly. When we open this same page in Firefox, it seems good.

In Jira website ‘http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GH/Using+the+Rapid+Board’, it is said that ‘Please note that Internet Explorer 7 (and IE8/IE9 in IE7 Compatibility Mode) are not supported for use with the Rapid Board’, so how can I use this greenhopper with IE8?

You got that right. JIRA and GreenHopper don't work well with Compatibility Mode. To turn it off, can you please refer to the following link below and give it a try:
