On Kanban, show the issues in the correct columns, even when showing its subtask

Antonio Celso Dias Duarte April 28, 2015

On Kanban, when using the Stories swimline, the "parent" issue is just shown "dettached" from the others. In this situation, the parent issue is not show in the kanban column to whom it belongs. (e.g. the parent issue is in the "In Progress" situation, but it is not under this column in the kanban view.). Only issues without sub-tasks appear in their correct columns.

How can I see ALL the issues (even those ones that have subtasks) under their columns?

Thanks in advance.

Antonio.

Don't use the Stories swimlane. I feel they're best only if you have post-functions to update the status of the stories automatically from the subtasks. Queries swimlane are more generally useful in my experience.
