Not enable plugin "Git Integration for Jira"

Dmitry Babenko February 27, 2024

Hi all! Installed the plugin, tried to enable it and got the message:

Unable to start the following plugins due to timeout while waiting for plugin to enable: com.xiplink.jira.git.jira_git_plugin

What's the problem?

@Dmitry Babenko it could be a number of things preventing the plugin from starting.  Not enough memory, corrupt cache, etc are a few.  What are you seeing in the logs?  this should provide a better insight into what is happening so you can fix the issue.  Can you share what is in the log at the time of plugin activation.

Memory,  etc - enough. Tried clearing the cache.

@Dmitry Babenko Can you share a bit more of the logs?  It would be helpful to see more of the logs after the activation fails.

@Dmitry Babenko when you try and start the app what is the server memory doing?  You might need to allocate additional memory to get it to start.  You already cleared the app cache so that would be my other suggestion.
