Not able to stop Jira

Hi,

I am unable to stop jira from command prompt. I am getting the error message

JAVA_HOME "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_271" contains spaces. Please change to a location without spaces if this causes problems.

please help with some solution.

These will be some troubleshooting steps:

1. Check if Jira is running, you can try accessing Jira on a web browser to verify this.
2. Next, you will need to fix the JAVA_HOME environment variable. How are you setting the value? You will need to change it to "C:\PROGRA~1\Java\jdk1.8.0_271".
3. If you would need to stop the Jira service, then you can forcefully kill it. 
   1. Open the Task Manager, find the process ID.
   2. Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run kill -9 /pid <process ID> /f
