Not able to login to vs-code atlassian to connect jira and bitbucket cloud

Hi,
I have downloaded the Atlassian plugin for Vs-code from marketplace,
when i click on 'please login to Jira' button, a browser window opens.
then it errors 'we're having trouble logging you in', screenshot attached.
