No roadmap link

I signed up to Jira to try out the roadmap feature but it's nowhere to be seen!

I have spent ages going through the docs, guides, videos and support but cannot find any answers... All the advice points to either Next-Gen projects or links that I do not have (e.g. the ... extra link above the board which I do not have)

Would love some help if possible. I used to use Jira a lot in my previous work so I am not a newbie.

Hi Sheyman - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Roadmaps do not appear to be available for Jira Core (Business type) projects. You will need a Classic Software or Next-gen project to be able to do a Roadmap.

Yes, you are right. I had created a business project. I created a software project and found the option. Thank you!

(funnily enough I specifically chose a business project thinking that it was more likely that a roadmap would be available there than in a software project!).
