Hi all,

I just jump to Jira cloud for a week however our developer use Jira Cloud for tracking issues on card board.

As my experience with Ms project desktop for many years then not familiar with Jira.  I need all your help to find the best practice software. My requirements are

- can create project  schedule hierarchy by  deepest individual task integrate with Jira issue board.

- can easily to set dependency task.

- can set up holiday as need and plan skip to be non working day.

- can see project start - end date of project,  and can see project start -end date of project task from start-end date of Jira issue task

- can assign performer of each task and set performer  hour rate   then can see resource usage as Ms project.  By this way, I can see total cost of project, see manday of each performer.

- can set baseline and create new base line to compare plan.

- can share to anyone with read only mode.  or export to PDF.

I am very appreciated your all experience and suggestion.

Hi @Ooh Jiraporn

Taking into account your requirements, let me add few words about BigPicture. It's one of the Jira plugins that can seem to meet your expectations. I will shortly introduce you main functionalities.

Let’s start with the Gantt module.

  • Adjustable WBS - In BigPicture, you can automatically create a no-limited number of WBS levels. Task Structure can be created based on both build-in task attributes (e.g., Epic link, Component, Version, Sprint) as well as links.
  • Possibility to visualize and add dependencies between various project tasks
  • Possibility to set Baselines and track deviations from your initial schedule.
  • Automatically scheduled tasks based on an assignee non-working days (previously defined)

Resources module
The Resources module provides all crucial information to manage resources both at project and portfolio levels but also can give an insight into resource utilization on a PI/Sprint level.

Hi, @Ooh Jiraporn.

There is no one-size-fits all in this situation. Only you can decide which Jira apps will be a good fit for your org.

I suggest you use the following search on Atlassian Marketplace:

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/addons/app/jira/top-rated?hosting=cloud&query=project%20management

Full disclosure, my company's product will be listed (Structure for Jira), @Anna-SoftwarePlant's product, BigPicture wil be on the list too  - but so will many others.

I suggest you narrow it down to 2 or 3 and evaluate one or more of those.

Good luck.

-dave
