My updates on a field are not appearing in a lookup

I have updated a field in Jira "Create an issue" and it is visible but not showing in the lookup in the field.

The old values are the ones that come up.

Hi Karamba,

What type of field is it? Single select? Multi select? User picker? Text? 

Lookup values are typically controlled under the Configuration for a Custom Field.

The field is a cutomer one with mutiple select. I kan see it but the old one comes up under lookup. It seems the new fields are not activated.
