My jira won't restart after the install, going from 8.2 to 8.5, where do I find the logs?

The error that is in the command line says we couldn't start jira right now, and to look at the logs  to get more information to give to the support team.

Are you installing in windows or Linux?

Follow below article, it will give more info on all important files and check the logs.

Hope that helps.

Read this, and delete the jira lock file, then retried.

Then reinstalled.

Still stuck.

I am getting an error that some files are in use, so now I'm try to clear that by rebooting our server.
