Hi,
We have a Kanban board in which we have the Closed status in our workflow mapped to a column named "Done". If an issue is closed from its own screen and a Resolution of, say "Done" is chosen, it stays that way. However, if the issue is dragged on the Kanban board to the Done column, the same box pops up asking for a resolution, from which "Done" can be chosen, but if you then view the closed issue, the Resolution is shown as "Cancelled".
Is this something todo with how our board is set up? Or is this a Jira bug?
Thanks
Hi @Kevin Hawley,

It sounds like your workflow has a post function that sets the resolution for you, and that is why the resolution is set to Cancelled when the issue is to moved Closed. You can edit your workflow if you go to Project settings > Workflows (assuming you have the right permissions).
Hi Mikael. Thanks for the response.
That may well be right. Unfortunately I don't have the permissions to edit the workflows, but knowing this is most likely the cause of the issue, I can certainly raise it with those who can make that change.
