Moving a story through three different backlogs in Greenhopper

I would like to move a story through three cascading backlogs (a client constraint):

• Wireframe
• Graphic design
• Develop and test

While I can create three boards (IA, Design, Development) and create sprints in each one, when I add a story to IA sprint 1 it is also added to Design sprint 1,...

Can I move a story through three different backlogs or do I need to create three seporate JIRA tickets / User stories.

Can I add three different estimates to a single user story (IA, Design, Development)?

It depends on the workflow of your stories :

If the main story may be in one project and one workflow, you could use differents boards to show it (it depends on the filter of the board).

But if each department may move that story on the workflow with differents step and transitions this may be not good.

Personnaly i start the main story on a department board, then at one step we use clone and link plugins to put it on the start board of another department etc...

So, use three differents story, moreover if you need three differents estimates.

Use link each story to follow vertically that story throw departments.
