Move issues from Resolved to Close in the Done column

I've got a board set up with a Done column which contains issues that are either Resolved or Closed.  I can move issues from other columns to the Done column and it allows me to put them into either the Resolved or Close. But what it does not seem to allow me to do is move issues from Resolved to Closed, ie: move from statuses in the same column.

Am I missing something?

There's a long standing flaw in Agile - it does not support moving between status in a single column.

There are several issues logged for it at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS and the last time I remember looking, Atlassian had said they wanted to fix it.

For now, drag and drop will only be available between columns.

Yes, but there is another point here - if you are finding that you are doing this a lot, then it actually suggests that your column definitions are wrong and you probably want to consider splitting them. Also, although you can always nip into plain Jira to move an issue, there's another option, which is to define a Kanban board that has separated columns. As long as you never click "release" on a Kanban board, everything will work fine. Neither fix is ideal, I'd prefer to see the ability to move within columns, but the workarounds really are not that hard.

No, we are not doing something wrong, just expecting Agile can perform the same steps as we can do using the Jira GUI.

Why don't you add a Column of Resolved, Match the Resolved state to the column?
