Link to something else than http(s) in Jira

Ola Fjelddahl November 2, 2017

Is there a way to link inline to something else than http or https when writing markdown in Jira?

----

When commenting in Jira I use the markdown syntax

[text|http://www.example.com]

but it only works for http/https if I understand correctly.

I try to link to a Onenote document

[text|onenote:#section-id={E2078A0E-568D-4DF9-1337-ECA35C554E2D}&end&base-path=server\path\filename.one]

or

[text|onenote://#section-id={E2078A0E-568D-4DF9-1337-ECA35C554E2D}&end&base-path=server\path\filename.one]

but the markdown doesn't validate it as a proper link.

Hi @Ola Fjelddahl,

I think you can try some of these workarounds, but I have not tested them myself.
