Licensing renewal for Jira plugins

Is Licensing for the Jira plugins between Jira software and Jira core for server versions are same?

As I was trying to renewal some of my Jira Software Apps, when I chose the product, Cart displaying "Plugin for Jira Software". But when the quote is generated as "Plugin for Jira Core".

Can somebody help me please for my better understand.

I understand the confusion, the wording here is quite bad in my opinion.  But the short answer is "you have not missed anything, the quote is for the apps you have chosen, the target application does not matter"

Apps are not really added to Software or Service-management.  An app described as "for Jira Software" just means that it is related to functions Jira Software provides and almost certainly depends on some of them (plus its unlikely to be of any use without Jira Software to work alongside)

It's Jira Core that provides the app framework that a plugin is installed into.  (It also provides the issues, workflows, fields, users and so-on, all things Jira Software needs to be able to do anything)
