I've connected to my Synology LDAP Directory Server; however, I cannot get past get membership when I test. I don't know where to get the values for the LDAP configuration, please advise on these values?
Thanks,
Bill
mberships when I test. I don't know how to get the correct values.
Hi @Bill Jones
Can you let me know how did you connect Synology users with Jira?. We are also having the same requirement.
Thanks in Advance.

Hello Bill,
You can check the user's LDIF file to see if the membership attribute is correct.
For more details on those settings, have a look at Connecting to an LDAP Directory > Membership Schema Settings.

Hi Shannon,
Thanks for the response, I initially read the documentation you linked in your reply; however, I am having trouble locating the specific items on the Synology NAS running Directory Server (Open LDAP).

Hi Bill,
Unfortunately I am not very familiar with LDAP but your LDAP administrator will be able to help you generate the LDIF file for that. I would recommend checking there first. Let us know if you have any questions!

Shannon

I've opened a ticket with Synology to ask them about their LDAP configuration.
