Kanban columns based on fix version

Is it possible to create columns in a Kanban board based on Fix version, independent on status of a ticket?

I have a project which has multiple stages, such as Backlog, Coding, QA, Beta, and during the whole time the ticket is always In Progress, but the Fix Version changes. Ideally I would like the Kanban to show the tickets in each column based on the fix version, however, it seems that columns are really determined by status, not fix version?

Is there a workaround to achieve this?

Have you considered adding swimlanes for the different fixVersions, I know that would be row rather than column based but it might work in that you could name your swimlane based on the fixVersion, it could also have other constraints (perhaps multiple swim lanes per fixVersion if necessary).

Hmm. It is an interesting solution. Thanks, I'll explore it.
