Kanban Board not releasing issues

So I made a release on my JIRA product backlog (Kanban) board for my project and it had 182 issues originally and then has 179...so it only releases 3 issues? How do I get the rest removed from my board and placed in the correct release?

I believe we'd need more information about those other 179 issues. It should release only issues in the Done column of your board once all the versions are released.

"Please note that the issues will only be cleared from the 'Done' column once all their versions are released. The release of existing versions must be done via the 'Project Administration > Versions screen'."
