Jira stopped sending email on ticket creation

Jira stopped sending an email on ticket creation all of a sudden last week. I checked the project email notification settings and it's still configured to send an email to a single user on ticket creation.

Hi @Vitaly Milavsky

You can first try checking using the Notification helper.

This is the results

Status: IT Support receives notifications for the 'Issue Created' event
IT Support does not get notified of their own changes.

Who is supposed to receive an email? The Reporter of the issue?

There is a setting that defines whether user should get notified for their own changes. You can read about it here.

We have a distro group called IT Support that emails everyone in IT, that's the group that should receive an email whenever a ticket is created. According to the notification helper it shows the distro as receiving the email. Are there any logs I can check to see what's happening?
