Jira not allowing ordering in agile board view

I keep getting this error message when trying to reorder items in our backlog:

"JIRA Agile cannot execute the rank operation. This board has recently been configured to use the Rank field. The system must be re-indexed before you can rank issues. Ask your administrator to perform a manual re-index."

I've tried a background reindex several times as well as a full "lock" index with no luck. This is an on-demand instance and I've noticed it since Friday.

It appears you are running into this issue: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS-10872

It seems to have been resolved in 6.4.2 which you should be on. Could you please create an issue at support.atlassian.comunder the OnDemand project? Please include in the created ticket the above bug link for our supporters.
