I have a filter export URL (csv format) and I was creating an Excel web data connection to it... but fat-fingered my password. When it tries to connect, it gives me "Access to the resource is forbidden".
Tried in Power BI desktop as well, same resulting error.
However, when I use a browser and go to the URL, it works just fine.
I have checked Windows Credential Manager and it's not stored in there. I checked in Excel Queries & Connections, but it was never created so it's not in there either.
Is there a restriction within Jira for connections from applications that could be restricting me?
(this filter returns less than 30 records, so it's not the 1000 limit)
For anyone that has the same problem:
For us it was that the output had a complex field in it. Was a bit ago, but I think it was an Scriptrunner Issue picker it could not handle
You can go to Data tab > Get Data > Data source settings > Global permission > Clear All Permissions.

Hi, I am having the same issue but clearing the permissions does not resolve. I am using the right JIRA credentials so at a loss with what to try next.
